How Can I Best Enjoy This Bertolli Alfredo Sauce?

Bertolli Alfredo Sauce is not only exceptionally delicious, it is also extremely versatile. Sure, you can toss it with some fettuccine noodles to make a classic fettuccine alfredo, but what if you want to try something different? Here are some meal ideas:

  • Cook beef stroganoff. In a pan, brown beef with garlic, add mushrooms and Bertolli Alfredo Sauce. After cooking, serve atop egg noodles.
  • Make a super-creamy mac and cheese by coating your favorite cooked macaroni with this alfredo sauce and adding your favorite grated cheeses and other toppings.
  • Use Bertolli Alfredo Sauce to make any casserole cheesier, moister and more decadent.
  • Create a simple chicken Florentine with chicken breast, this cheesy alfredo sauce and fresh or frozen spinach.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Classico® Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb. sweet or hot italian-style bulk sausage
  • 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 16 oz. rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium high heat, brown sausage for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring until small crumbles form. Drain fat if needed. Add onion and pepper, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in Pasta Sauce and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot with cooked pasta.
